Design Management

Reference provides integrated design management services to manage the project design phase, this is achieved by coordinating with various parties and ensuring that the requirements and prerequisites for all services and equipment required for facility functions are included in the overall design, design management services include:

Prepare a completion plan to recruit all activities involved in the various stages of design with a time frame to achieve each individual goal.

  • Regular monitoring of what has been achieved from the design through the holding of interim meetings.
    Follow up on observations made by design companies
  • Review the integration equipment during design to incorporate the requirements stage of specialized equipment to be installed by the third party.

Support transition and playback

Reference provides transition support and facility operation readiness by initiating and managing the project in the initial phase through the final phase, This ensures that end users have a smooth transition to start their operations. Services at this stage of any project including coordination for the transfer of the owner in the schedule usually contain the following:

  • Closing the contract: Complete and settle each contract (including resolving any open terms) and close each contract applicable to the project or project phase including final payments.
  • Termination of the project: Manage all activities across all process groups to formally close the project or project phase as defined in the project closure procedure which includes but is not limited to the following:

  2. Turnkey
  3. Close punch lists
  4. End User Training
  5. Determination of the contractor’s liability during the period of liability for defects
  6. Issuance of Receipt Certificate
